What are the tiny red spots under the skin on my nose?
Question by : What are the tiny red spots under the skin on my nose?
I am a 25yr old female. No major consumption of alcohol, probably as much as anyone else in their early 20′s. For about the past 1-2 yrs I probably have 5-10 drinks per month. I’ve always tanned in both the tanning bed, during the summer months, & the real sun. I would say that my tanning habits may b considered normal as well. I’ve been a smoker for about 8-9yrs. No diseases or anything that I know of. I’ve been on Ortho-Tri Cyclen for about 8-10yrs. Also, Phentermine, Celexa, & Xanax (as needed), for maybe 2-3yrs. I have little flat, mostly round, red spots on my nose, under the skin. I noticed the 1st one about 9-12 months ago, with more appearing since then. There are about 7 total. On the sides, bridge, tip, ect. Doctor said they could be from the sun, but not to be worried. I avoided the sun all summer, btw. What are these spots & how can I get rid of them!!!!??? I’d like to attach pics, if I can figure out how!! Lol Thanks!!

It’s just from the sun damage. I believe you can get a special light to see them all.

So i took a bath.
I just washed myself then dried myself with a towel. I put lotion all over my skin, and everything was fine. then i went to bed and started reading a book. When i turned the page i just happened to turn my head to my arm and boom, theres random red spots on it.
theres several little red spots , on a huge area of my upper arm. every other part of my body is fine!
i dont know if its some allergic reaction or something.. what is it?
it just came outta nowhere. what is this condition called? what caused it? How do i get rid of it?
it doesn’t itch or bother me btw
i don’t know if its the lotion.. i put it on every part of my body. I have used it before without any problem.

Answer by Aeli W
It is probably just an allergic reaction to something in the lotion. Go wash it off with warm water and it should be gone by the time you wake up.

Red spot on skin under my eye, been there for months?
Question by Lucy D: Red spot on skin under my eye, been there for months?
I have this really small red dot on my skin under my eye, where the skin is pretty thin. It’s been there for months now. I don’t know what it is…does anyone know or know how I can get rid of it? It doesn’t hurt and I can’t feel it. It’s not a bump or anything, just flat skin that’s red.

I used to have a small red dot under my eye on the thin part of the skin as well. Mine went away with time. I don’t think there is any way to cure it.

Really painful red under the skin spot on nose – how to get rid of?
Question by Jammy: Really painful red under the skin spot on nose – how to get rid of?
This past couple of days a red spot has appeared on my nose. It’s bigger than normal and appears to be under the skin as there is nothing to pop, also it is really painful, even to touch and sometimes when I’m not doing anything to it.
What can I do to remove it? Do i just continue with my normal routine of cleansing and moisturizing, or would a fask mask or scrub help? Also I’ve tried squeezing it but nothing comes out and it’s far too painful.
Thanks.

Yogurt. Go to the grocery store and pick up a lemon, orange, or pineapple flavored yogurt (make sure the yogurt isn’t the kind with fruit at the bottom but is actually that fruit flavor) and then apply it all over your clean face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. You can then rinse it off with lukewarm water. The active cultures in yogurt will help neutralize the bacteria in your pores so it will help heal any blemishes you have currently and also help prevent new ones. The citric acid from the lemon, orange, or pineapple will also help dissolve the top layer of your skin (just like using a scrub to exfoliate but much more gentle). You can do this everyday if your skin is really bad or just 1-2 times a week as a preventative measure.

Sounds like an early alergic reaction. I got that before, and found out I was alergic to the metal on my watch.
For anyone that’s alergic to metal and wants to keep their watch, try putting a few coats of clear nailpolish on the metal parts of it, about once every 2 weeks.

Red Spots under skin on palms only…what are they?
Question by Davey1976: Red Spots under skin on palms only…what are they?
For the last couple of years, I have noticed at times that when I scratch my palm, I look down and see a few red blotches under my palms. I usually notice them after scratching my hand, and realizing that it now itches more. If I leave them alone, I get a mild burning feeling for awhile, but not badly and the itching subsides. I can typically find them on both hands at the same time, but they come and go, and are never in the same spot again usually. I can count 5 or 6 of these red blotches on either hand. I cannot find anything on the internet about this. Anyone know?
I have never noticed a correlation to drinking, allergies, stress, or anything like that. It is just like a handful of reverse mosquito bites appear and itch for about a day, then disappear.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello, I have red spots under skin of my palms on my hands, what is this and how do I get rid of it? Heres a link to a picture..

It gets much worse then that when I’m outside or doing something..
It does not look natural, when its much worse, I fear of handing things to people and them thinking I have some sort of disease, its very bad. Looks like some sort of fungal infection.. Let me repeat.. VERY bad.

You cannot get rid of this – its more or less normal. Some of the redness could be caused by dry, irritated hands (like from using a harsh soap), but otherwise, its normal for blood circulation to increase when using your hands, or when its hot outside. Increased circulation in the skin causes a reddish appearance.
