Kanwaminerals.com provides unique clay remedies that have been scientifically analyzed to balance the skin ph and provide numerous benefits for the skin. ClayBath Skin Detox is a natural healing remedy recommended for rashes, muscle aches, and adult acne.

Clay has commonly been used since the beginning of mankind. Ancient Medicine men used clay to heal wounds, relieve stomach pain, combat anemia and absorb poisons from contaminated food. Today, clay is still used by African tribes and Native Americans for ceremonies in traditional sweatlodge purification practices, spiritual cleansing, pow wows, weddings, and holiday celebrations.

How to heal red skin on my face really fast?

Jul 28, 2012   //   by   //   Blog  //  No Comments

Question by pippay: How to heal red skin on my face really fast?
I have these horrible red spots on my face after I popped a few pimples a few days ago. I have tried everything to get rid of these but nothing is working. I put toothpaste on it last night and when I woke up and washed it off it was even more red and ugly. I’ve tried honey, benzoyl peroxide, saline solution, hydrogen peroxide, and nothing is helping. Help me please!!! I can’t go anywhere looking like this
I don’t want to wait a month! I want it gone as soon as possible

I used to have the same problem but tons of pimples and clogged pores with redness. I tried everything until I realized it was all just a reaction from all the stuff I was putting on my face. The best thing to use is something with calendula. California Baby with Calendula cream is amazing. It will reduce inflammation and reduce the redness and bumps within like two days! Its really soothing. You can get it at any grocery or drug store in the baby section.

How to control acne and develop a good routine for clear skin?

Jul 28, 2012   //   by   //   Blog  //  3 Comments

Question by : How to control acne and develop a good routine for clear skin?
Hey, I’m sixteen. I get a few breakouts from time to time on my chest back and face. What are the best products that you guys use to control acne, and what are your skin routines?

Best answer:

Answer by Madison
I get acne on my forehead and on my temples and on my nose and between my eyebrows when i pluck them. But i use some reallly good stuff.
I use “Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer” and if you have oily skin don’t worry it won’t make it any oiler because its oil-freee and it treats &helps prevent pimplesa and moisturizes dry skin.
I also use Clearasils “Overnight Serum” And it helps visibly reduce the redness and size of pimples over night.
My rountines is when I wake up I wash my face then pat it dry then use the dual action moisturizer. Then if I have time a few hours before bed I will apply it again (but it doesn’t matter you only have to use it once) Then right before I go to bed I use the Serum and the serum especially works so well. I say MAJOR results its about a week or maybe two.
Hope this helps!

I don’t want my skin to get use to the DIY stuff since they are gems when you are having a bad week. Vegetable Glycerin: You can buy glycerin but a veggie base is much healthier for you skin. Rosemary Oil Extract Mint Cetaphil Water Got left over craft stuff? Send them here!!!! Article: vitatalks.com Acne is mainly caused by blood sugar control issues. Blood sugar imbalance results in excessive insulin production. Excessive insulin levels lead to a greater release of the hormones testosterone and IGF1 – insulin growth factor. Excessive testosterone and IGF1 increases the production of sebum (a fat) and keratin (a protein) within hair follicles. Sebum and keratin excess block hair follicles leading to spots (acne). So the acne solution is: Modify the carbs you eat! Reduce excessive carbs – breads, pastas, potatoes and rice. The main offenders. Remove sugar – this is the most important thing. This includes table sugar, honey, syrups, fructose, glucose/fructose syrup. Eat low GI/GL carbohydrates Eat a protein serving with each meal Eat fibre – lots of vegetables should be the main source. Studies show that: Excessive carbs increase testosterone production = raised chance of spots. Poor quality carbs (high GI/GL) increase the activity of testosterone and IGF1 and result in more acne.

Did the clinique acne skin care treatment work for you?

Question by vanessab: Did the clinique acne skin care treatment work for you?
I’ve heard great things about this, but it’s very expensive. I have under the skin acne and it’s pretty noticable in certain lights.

If you have tried this product, I’d appreciate your reviews. Thx.
You fake people who are trying to sell something should really try to hide yourselves better. Don’t put the link to the website – it’s a dead give away.

Then again – how intelligent can you be? You are using the Y!A to try and get a pitiful commission from these companies.

Question by Laughing Chicken: Is there a home remedy for acne scars or do I have to have sugery to have perfect skin?
I’ve been struggling with Acne for many, many, many years and I’m and adult now and although I haven’t been breaking out much I have acne scars. I was considering cosmetic surgery but I don’t have the money and I’m afraid. Any suggestions.

There are home remedies for everything, how about this?

Answer by Lordtac
This is gonna sound really painful but I have seen some articles on yahoo and other acne treatment sites that suggest… sand-paper… of all things to buff out the scars and level the skin over and around the scars.
