Tomato juice works well. Just spread the juice all over your face, it takes time to see huge results though. Potatoe slices are good too. Aloe vera can help as well. I heard garlic slices help the pimples, but never used it before. Also heard papayas do good.

Soap & warm water to open up you’re pores and cleanse them a little bit and then go to you’re local natural foods market and find an oil that has natural ingredients including jojoba oil, vitamin E and maybe almond extract.

I heard eggwhites work for blackheads. You just put a couple of eggwhites into a bowl stir with a fork until it gets bubbly, then put it on your face and wait for it to dry into a mask then wash it off. I hear it really works.

Aspirin, Honey, and Olive Oil for Skin: Home Remedies

I love the exfoliating effects of aspirin, which is great for razor bumps. It also costs ! In the video, I say aspirin is salicylic acid, which is wrong! It is actually acetylsalicylic acid. Honey has long been known to heal skin, either topically or taken as a supplement (1 tbsp a day). It helps with dry skin and, believe it or not, pimples. I like to dab this on pimples and stick a band aid over it overnight, or slather it on overnight with some dissolved aspirin mixed in for moisturizing and exfoliation. Olive oil is amazing for zit-prone skin and is very calming and hydrating. It can even be used as a cleanser; it’s hard to believe, but oil grabs onto your skin’s oil (think back to middle school: like dissolves like), so it actually removes oil without stripping your skin – Greek women have been using olive oil to cleanse and moisturize for centuries. I know these sound weird but some natural remedies that have helped some people include fresh lemon juice (apply to affected areas for a few minutes, then rinse it off which lightens dark acne scars) and an ice cubes/pack (rub on affected areas which is supposed to shrink the pores and soothe any irritation caused by the scars).

I just got sick of doctor’s short term solutions and antibiotics. I am in my first thirties and have sudden breakouts around my mouth that fade but appear again. They are really embarrasing sometimes. I have heard of yogurt mask (because it has anti-bacterial peoperties). To what extent is it effective? I am just tired of visiting doctors.

I’m also in my early 30′s. When I feel a lil break out coming on, I take a very long (1-2 hour) hot bath. As hot as you can stand. Once the water cools, let some out and fill it back up again. Make sure you keep your heart above the water, that helps keep you comfortable. The whole reason for the heat is to make you sweat. Do that every day for a few (3) days. You’ll be amazed how great your skin looks and feels. You can also do others things that will make you sweat. I find the bath gets the best results. Oh and before I forget to mention. when you’re done in the bath, rinse your face with cool water to tighten up your pores. Hope this works for you!

Put a thin layer of white Elmer’s glue on your black heads, leave it for 15 minutes then peel it off. As for scars massage skin lotion on them for 10 minutes each day then pat your face dry.

I have heard that toothpaste and tomatoes can help with acne. What products or home remedies have you used that cleared up your acne? I know that everyone’s skin is different, so what worked for you might not work for me, but it never hurts to try.
I actually have tried the asprin thing. It made my skin smooth but didn’t seem to do much for my acne.
