Question by vanilla=d(^.^)b: Skin contact with HCL => How long will this skin rash last?
A few days ago, I spilled hydrochloric acid on myself and although I wore an apron, my hands had direct contact with the acid. Now there are red spots on my hands and then spreading all around. I think it’s a skin rash from the contact but what should I do? Should I wait until it’s gone or should I go see a doctor? If it’s not the acid then it could be skin rash from heat. Idk. Help?

Tell your chemistry teacher!!! S/he will put anothe chemical on top of it to neutralize it; or will give you advice on how to care for it and how long the rash will last of s/he can’t help you.
